Offroad Camps is our startup venture. Though the idea of it has been in our minds for quite some years now, the actual work took time to commence. Through rough June drives to petty road accidents and sleeping on the floor while scouting sites, we have done and felt it all. And it’s our this strong history with the cause that rides our grit to do make it better every day.
We are adventurers. We seek thrill in creating a sight out from an isolated land. Serene mountains, good food and pleasant company does it for us. Our days start with the rising sun and end with warmness of people around us. Bonfires, trekking, hiking, farming and teaching at the local schools are some of the things that keep us busy.
We do not boast of big promises, nor do we claim that visiting Offroad Camps is an once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing. But, we assure you that visiting us will be worth your time. Regardless of your age, you’ll get a chance to live a great vacation, enjoy the nature and somewhere in between create fond memories.

Location: The camp is located at Kasmoli, Agarkhal (near Rishikesh). On a clear day, it takes about seven hours of drive from Delhi to reach this place. Nearest railway stations are at Haridwar (49 kms), Rishikesh (30 kms) and Dehradun (70 kms). Nearest airports are at Dehradun (40 kms from the airport), Chandigarh (235 kms) and New Delhi (260 kms). Accommodations: Ours is an adventure camp, not a resort or homestay. It has 9 tents with single/double beds. Extra beds can be added, if available. The location has separate/attached washroom facilities. Each tent has a private porch that opens to stunning views of the valley.
Food: Meals are made from the fresh local produce and are served in the cafeteria across the tents. Non vegetarian menu can be prepared, if informed well in advance.
Transportation: Travelers can directly drive-in till the camp. However, since the location of the camp is in the middle of mountain forests, we request you to inform us beforehand so that we can guide you and keep warm food ready at your arrival. Should you need, we can also arrange for transportation from Delhi, Chandigarh, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Dehradun.

Your tireless & persistent efforts created a small heaven. What more you need at such a location – quaint little village surroundings, terraced fields, dispersed walnut & oak trees with occasional flowering Rhododendron, chirping Himalayan birds, perfect sunrise, distant snowy peaks, deep valleys, comfortable tents, tasty food, hamam for hot water bath, and a super picnic lunch on a ridge overlooking mighty Himalayan range… overall we had a rich, memorable and everlasting experience.We wish you all the very best.
